Flatpack

Integrated power, signal, and fiber flat cable for downhole use
Encapsulated Tube & Cable & Bump Bars - Lander

Flatpack Solutions for Complex Well Environments

Lander flatpack assemblies integrate control lines, fiber units, TEC cables, and mechanical protection into a compact, reliable structure engineered for HP/HT wells, offshore completions, and long-term monitoring systems.
Our configurations deliver clean installation, strong mechanical stability, and long-life reliability in corrosive, high-pressure, and vibration-intensive environments.

Fully integrated flatpack with metal tubes, TEC/fiber cables, and reinforced bump bars for maximum mechanical protection.

Designed for harsh environments such as deepwater completions, long horizontal wells, and high mechanical interference zones.

Manufacturing Process

Simplified Installation for Well Completion

Flatpack assemblies streamline the entire completion process by integrating tubes, TEC cables, and fiber units into a single compact structure. This minimizes rig time, reduces handling steps, and ensures smooth deployment in vertical, deviated, and long horizontal wells — delivering faster, safer, and more consistent installations.

Packaging

After production, Flatpack products are inspected, coiled, and packaged to protect the cable structure during transportation and handling, ensuring safe delivery to the field.

Manufacturing Process

Conductor Warehouse

Copper and aluminum conductors are carefully stored and managed in a controlled warehouse environment. Each batch undergoes verification for conductivity, dimensional consistency, and surface condition before entering the production line, ensuring stable electrical performance and reliable processing throughout cable manufacturing.

Conductor Stranding

Annealed single wires are stranded into conductors to achieve the required current capacity, flexibility, and mechanical strength.

Insulation Extrusion

Insulation materials are extruded over the stranded conductor under controlled conditions to provide electrical insulation and thermal protection.

Inner Sheath Application

An inner sheath is applied to protect the cable core and provide a stable base for armoring.

Armoring

Metal armor is applied to enhance mechanical strength and resistance to external impact and downhole stresses.

Spooling & Packaging

Cables are carefully spooled and packaged to prevent deformation and damage during transportation.
